Great! Not just the effort you put into PS, but for the historical background. Exceptional!

What a great shot! We now have 12 P0seidons based out of Edinburgh in South Australia. About 640NM to the west of Sydney YSSY.

I was looking at other shots of this 130.it looks like it has RAF Roundels but no other RAF markings. Also there looks to be a cargo door on the right side, but I'm probably wrong on that. There must be a deeper story here. Either way, it's not a US designated EC130, but whoever owns it could very well designate it as their version of an EC130

Sure looks better than their silly modern flag tail design which says so little. The classic "AA" just said it all. Nice photo!

I could be wrong, not the first time, but I believe that the DDay invitation is being redone again this year in Normandy. Possibly getting ready for the trip.

That is certainly a great photo of a -G model. Great plane, and this one still looks great.

Thanks Dave! They also have a DC4, a P3C Orion, a DHC4 Caribou and a Catalina. All are flown regularly.

Resembles the Loadstar in the looks.
Alway thought the Loadstar is one of the best looking airplanes ever made in that era.
